Hot Tub & Shed Removal

One Crew. Demo and Haul.
Done in One Visit.

Hot tubs and sheds can't just be picked up and tossed in a truck. They require proper breakdown, sometimes concrete removal, and the right tools to do it safely. Most junk haulers aren't set up for it — we are.

The Wreckin' Haul handles both the demolition and the haul-away in a single visit. That means no coordinating between a demo crew and a junk company. You call once, we show up once and the job is done.

Full demolition and breakdown included
No separate demo contractor needed
Hot tubs broken down on-site
Wood and metal sheds both handled
Concrete slab removal assessed per job
Site swept clean before we leave

  • 05Deck or platform debris cleared and site swept clean

  • 02We dismantle the structure safely from roof to foundation
  • 03Wood framing, metal panels, roofing material and hardware all removed

Why It Matters

Why One Crew for Demo and Haul Makes Sense

Hot tub and shed removal isn't as simple as calling a junk hauler. Here's why having one crew handle everything is the right call.

01

You Don't Need Two Separate Contractors

Hiring a demo crew and then a junk hauler separately costs more and takes more coordination. We do both — you make one call, get one quote and deal with one crew from start to finish.

02

We Know What We're Doing

Cutting apart a hot tub or safely demolishing a shed requires the right tools and approach. Our crew is experienced with both and gets it done efficiently without damage to surrounding areas.

03

The Site Is Left Clean

We don't leave a pile of broken fiberglass and splintered wood on your lawn. Everything gets loaded and hauled away. The site is cleared and swept before we leave — ready to be used for something new.

FAQ

Hot Tub & Shed Removal
Questions Answered

What people ask most before booking a hot tub or shed removal.

Does the hot tub need to be drained before you arrive?
Yes — the tub should be fully drained before we arrive. If you're not sure how to drain it, we can walk you through the process over the phone. We can also drain on-site if there's accessible hose access, but it adds time to the job.
Do you handle the electrical disconnection for a hardwired hot tub?
We can disconnect standard 120V plug-in hot tubs. For hardwired 240V units, California requires a licensed electrician to disconnect the circuit first. We recommend scheduling that before your removal date. We can advise on this when you book.
Can you remove a concrete slab or pad left behind after the hot tub or shed?
Concrete slab removal is handled on a case-by-case basis depending on size and thickness. Ask us when you book and we'll let you know if we can include it in the job or recommend a concrete specialist.
How long does hot tub removal take?
Most hot tub removals take 2–4 hours from arrival to site cleanup. Larger or more complex setups — heavy surrounds, hard access, multi-piece decking — may take longer.
Can you remove a metal shed as well as wood sheds?
Yes. We remove both wood-frame and metal shed structures. The demolition approach differs but the end result is the same — the structure is gone and the site is cleared.
What do you do with the shed and hot tub material after removal?
Metal components are sorted for scrap recycling. Wood is taken to appropriate disposal facilities. Fiberglass shell material from hot tubs goes to a licensed disposal facility. We don't just dump everything in the nearest bin.
How much does hot tub or shed removal cost in North County San Diego?
Pricing depends on size, access difficulty and whether concrete removal is needed. Call us at (760) 280-9372 for a free on-site estimate. We give you a firm price before any work starts.
